It is pretty clear where we are. We know how we got here and how it has come to this passionate movement to restore constitutional values. Now, where do we go from here?
In my observations, I have seen many organizations that represent conservative, constitutional and patriotic values. Their messages creep out here and there in articles, blogs, and video clips. Rarely seeing the light of mainstream media day. Many call attention to the same issues and scandals with slightly different takes. Which ultimately amounts to “choirs preaching to choirs.” Unite the choirs. Preach to the ignorant!
Many of us have givin up on most of the so called conservative leaders. Except when they blast the progessive and liberal agendas on “our behalf.” Then they mean something to us. It is sad when we are happy to get these measley bones thrown to us. It doesn’t even seem to matter that these are the same people that repeatedly throw us under the bus to serve themselves and the elite that paid to get them elected.
From the Republican leadership there seems to be no effort to layout a clear plan or strategy for the future. No sense of urgency when it comes to uniting the conservative base. That is why we have this overwhelming urge to take matters into our own hands. And We have!
We need to unite as one group, one voice, one nation. We need to tear down this corrupt house of lies to it’s constitutional foundation and rebuild from there. The preservation of our Constitutional vision should be rule number one! Too many are ignorant to what the founding fathers have laid out for us. For too long we have been fenced in by a two party system. A two headed snake fills us with venom from both sides.
We don’t need more career politicians. We need Americans. Leaders. PERIOD. George Washington was nominated for president because they knew he would bow out when it was time. Who is our George Washington, our Ben Franklin, Alexander Hamilton? What politician do you know of that isn’t involved with a questionable company or organization? What current politician is fighting tooth and nail for the people and the country? Who is putting the nation’s interest above their own? Who is stepping up to dismantle this Government of mass destruction? Anyone? Really!?
We the people, Americans, must unite. We must get connected and organized! If those moveon hacks can do it, in comparison, we should be able to crush their efforts. Our numbers must be counted and our voices heard. Our groups are spread out all over the place. We need to get centered, get back to basics: upholding the constitution and speak with ONE LOUD VOICE! The more attention we get on MSM the more eyebrows it raises, the more brushfires that are lit in the minds of Americans. Then we can begin to take America back. How many people do you know that don’t even realize they are conservative? Personally, I know many.
We should start here. Sitting with friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors discussing the Constitution. Discuss the Bill of Rights and the Federalist Papers. Compare them to the current policies and discuss where our government has strayed. For the most part we all can agree on the basics. We should put aside the hot button issues that divide us for a little while and refocus!
Look what is happening at these townhall meetings. The majority agrees that government has grown too powerful and completely out of control at our expense! People are fed up(no pun intended) and we are calling them out on their “BS” with common sense questions. The clarifications and rebuttles can be entertaining to watch. Since politicians don’t know how to give straight answers or apologize!
Why do we know more about the bills they write than they do? Isn’t that what we hired them to do!? What does this tell you? It tells me their orders come from people other than the We the People. So, reading the bills before passing them is pointless. All they need to know is how to vote. Call it a charade or a song and dance, it’s all just theatre. Distraction from the real mechanics of Washington. It all must stop! We must begin to climb out of this grave that we crawled into!
Who will lead this movement?
Patriots, Defenders of Freedom & Liberty.
We will!
Unite! One group, Connect, Communicate, One voice, Educate, Protest, Win, Restore, Secure!
Perhaps we should drop all labels. Liberal, Conservative, Progressive. Really, aren’t we all of these already? Does it not describe what this country was founded on? Freedom and Liberty, conservation of values and resources, preservation of rights and the pursuit of progress for a just and equality based nation and government?
Somehow they split these ideals into seperate entities. No more mass psychology!
We are PATRIOTS! PERIOD!!
If we do not stand united, divided we will crawl. How soon do we want our country back? NOW!

I’ve often thought the same thing. One thing we must concede to the liberals is their staying power. They got organised in the 60′s and they stick around, are consistent in what they want. And when they don’t get what they want, they stick to it and wait for another chance, over and over.
There are hundreds of conservative, constitutional groups all over the place. Imagine if these folks could be united and stick to the message in the same way. I would like to see someone try to do it, to somehow initiate contact and coordinate all these people. That would be amazing.

Part of the problem is in the very nature of conservatism; we want to be left alone to pursue our aspirations, to fulfill our dreams and to fail or succeed based on our efforts. Therefore we tend to shy away from group think and group action.
Everything you have said is true: liberals are patient, the progressive movement goes back 100 years, they are satisfied to nibble away at our freedoms, knowing that a frontal assault will meet with an uprising of the citizenry. They have bought us off, one by one or group by group — whether it’s social security or medicaid/medicare, auto company bailouts or farmer subsidies. We took and now we are beholden.
This administration feels the time is right to push the envelope more than any other — at least since Roosevelt. And so we are up in arms in defense of what we conservatives consider the American way of life. We may staunch the bleeding but I fear we cannot turn back the clock, strip away the freedom-eroding programs and return to our view of constitutional government. And, if we win a few of these battles, there is every likelihood we will return to our individual pursuits and the liberal-progressives will once again begin to nibble.
Organizing is good, necessary, the only way to win. The problem is that there is no conservative counterpart of George Sorros to fund the effort and, as yet, no leader strong enough to act as a magnet. I love Sarah Pallin’s voice but have reservations about her intellectual heft. The closest person I can find to rally around is Newt Gingrich and he brings a lot of baggage with him
